The Homeless Garden Project is building a new permanent home, Pogonip Farm. Located within the City of Santa Cruz’s Pogonip greenbelt, this new home will allow HGP to triple our capacity to transform lives and build community connections through a public-private partnership.

Serving as a national model, Pogonip Farm will be the heart of HGP’s dynamic agriculture program to help find homes and provide job training for people who are experiencing homelessness, provide volunteer opportunities for community members, and land stewardship through organic farming.

Join us to get Two Steps Closer to Home by supporting one or both parts of our campaign:

Build The Farm

You can help BUILD THE FARM by making a multi-year pledge or a gift to fund one-time costs to build the new Farm Center at Pogonip consisting of our Administrative and Kitchen Building, a barn and greenhouses to triple the size of our current farm site.

We have surpassed the original project fundraising goal established by our Board of Directors and we have secured nearly $3.2 million in pledges to date.

Our goal for the Build the Farm portion of the campaign is $3.5 million.

Grow Our Impact

+++++++++++++

You can help GROW OUR IMPACT by making a three-year pledge to expand the impact of our programs. At our new larger farm site, we can serve more people who are experiencing homelessness, provide more volunteer opportunities for community members, and feed more underserved community members by growing even more organic food for those in need.
